the chamber to find it halfway spent and loaded three more shells, no longer discriminating between shot types. She stuck her head out momentarily and could see suits taking up positions around the foyer. Shots were fired from the other end of the corridor. Rounds shattered windows and tore a painting from the wall. She returned fire down the now-empty hallway. A moment later a hand and pistol fired blindly at her once more. These shots struck the ceiling and carpet harmlessly. Nevertheless, the corridor was shoddy cover and it was just a matter of time before they had her pinned and trapped totally. She took a deep breath and darted across the marble for the entryway. Gunshots echoed and rounds struck the marble to make almost musical twanging sounds.

You are going to die. Accept this as fact and die messy!...
