With a thought, Rena brought the suspect’s stolen vehicle flickering into existence. A collection of images captured prior to the wreck’s removal was being rendered before her, visually rewinding the clock. Vehicles, moving past in real-time, blended with those whose movements had been captured the night before.

       “Libra, suspend the live feed. Show me yesterday, twenty-one-hundred hours, thirty- three minutes, nine seconds.”
