At ten to six, the intercom buzzed in Evelina’s apartment. She brushed back the lacy curtain and peaked out her window and saw Andrew standing by the front door. She skipped over to the intercom to buzz him into the building. Evelina had changed into a simple but pretty eggplant colored dress with half length sleeves and a pair of sturdy black flats. She left her hair down but tied a sparkly pink ribbon around her head like a headband.
Felix had already been fed and he was sleeping cozily in his bed in the living room. Evelina placed a jean jacket and a small purse waiting by the door so she could grab them when they left.
