Throwing her arms around Danny, Sandrina nodded vigorously. “I will,” she whispered as tears streamed down her cheek. “God, of course I will, Daniel Jatmiko.”

Danny laughed in joy at her response, stood with her, and hugged her tight. He then took the ring, and slid it into her ring finger. It fitted perfectly.

“Stay alive, okay?” Sandrina said. “I’ll be waiting for you.”

“Yes, Ma’am,” he said, wiping the traces of tears from her beautiful face.

They smiled at each other, and were about to leave the room with their hands still tucked in one another when Ray showed up.

“Ray, what are you doing walking around? You should be resting, man,” Danny said as he and Sandrina approached him.
