What seemed like years had passed since leaving my doctor's office, yet it truly was only months.  Progress moved forward and we came closer to an answer as to what was plaguing me.  The cough didn't get any better and, occasionally, seemed worse.  Although, truth be told, I couldn't believe that to even be possible.  My doctor finally admitted my problem was tougher than he thought.  There were so many tests after he arrived at that realization that I actually lost count.
