Since the inception of no’an, kirins have been resigned to their circumstances. Mistreated by humans, kirins chose to avoid them; developed their own societies, cultures, and ways of life throughout the world; and went on about their business.
Kirins experience many feelings humans do: frustration, sorrow, guilt, fear, happiness, and love. Yet for thousands of years they have seldom had occasion to sense two others: hatred and anger.
