"This is absolutely insane," Barry uttered as he joined Paz in the front.

"What did you expect?" Ina said, her own mood improved by the infectious joy she saw in Paz. "Considering everything we've seen and learned, it was only a matter of time before we found ourselves in a flying car."

Safa slowly opened her eyes and repositioned herself into the middle of the van, so she could look through the windshield.

"All I know is that we need to head in a northwesterly direction," she said. "I will need someone to give me corrections as we get closer to Oregon."
