Wilder looked at his watch. It was two minutes to midnight, Central Standard Time. "Alright, so this is it. What are we supposed to do?"

"We're here, that's step one," said Ina. "According to Peter, step two is waiting."

Wilder blinked. "Waiting isn't a step."

"So far we followed all the instructions. Either what Peter researched or what we discovered over the past couple insane weeks," Ina said. "The inscription on the lance is what directed us here."
