"I've heard about it," Paz said. "What was it for? Sounds ominous."

"Anything with 'dead' in the name sounds ominous," Barry agreed.

"It actually is not as bad as it sounds," Safa said. "In fact, the Book of the Dead was quite good. The spells and prayers found among its many pages, and many versions of those pages, are meant to help the dead's traverse into and through the afterlife."
