A flash of anger crossed Paz's face, but was immediately replaced by trembling chin and down-turned mouth as she began to weep. She fell forward, into Barry's waiting arms, and he held her close.
Ina looked at the amulet in her hand, and then held it up for all to see. "It wasn't for nothing," she said.
"You had a vision," Wilder said. "It's a piece of jewelry. We don't know if it wasn't for nothing."
Ina, struck by Wilder's obvious resentment, turned to him, her eyes narrowed. "You don't believe me?"
"I believe you dreamed something. We all have dreams."
