Series Description:

U.S. Marine Adam Koehley lives the ideal life with his wife and two children on the beaches of Hawaii until his latest tour in Iraq shatters his world completely. Ptsd therapy reveals to his wife the unbearable details of his capture and the guilt that he battles over the death of a young boy. She watches, helplessly, as her husband spirals into drugs and alcohol to dull his agony but, when she learns of his affair with the boy's mother in Iraq, she flees her marriage to her hometown and back into the arms of an old flame while Adam returns to war. As she returns to her home in Hawaii, two officers arrive at her door with wounded faces, carrying the worst news of all.

Author Bio For Jodi Clark:

Born and raised in West Virginia as an only child, Jodi discovered her passion for writing at twelve years old through an essay assignment for school.  She found immense freedom and expression in writing literature, but it wasn’t until several years later that she began to publish some of her poetry, which has been included in a few magazines and various anthologies, such as “Cherished Poems of the Western World”. 

Jodi penned her first novel, a non-fiction story entitled Summer Dream, in 1995 that she opted not to publish.  2008 brought her first fiction novel, The Disappearance of Benny, followed by Aiding Revenge and Matriarca.  In 2016, she published Bleeding Panther and Mother Condemned, both of which have received 5-Star reviews.

While writing her novels, Jodi, a wife and mother, has been an Ehow contributor for Demand Studios and a writer for “Around The Panhandle” Magazine, as well as maintaining her full time job, though her goal is to make writing her sole career.  After several years in Virginia, Florida and North Carolina, she returned to her home state of West Virginia, where she still lives with her family.
