Melanie couldn't move, she sat there frozen to the bed. The pain in her arm was so intense that she couldn't even form a single thought. She knew he was fixing it, he would be able to keep track of every little move she made and he would be able to control her if he wanted. 

When she imagined seeing him again she hoped it would be in hell when she died, but here he was, in the house she shares with Lucina and their daughter. She couldn't help the memories flashing behind her eyes, the pain in her arm brought them back so intensely. Ones of pain and anguish from her childhood.
