Blake laid on the floor and stared up at the ceiling and wondered what her life would have been like if she had lived with her mortal parents. Would she still have developed her magic like she did or would it have stayed dormant? She stretched her arms out and placed them behind her head, Tallia was downstairs making dinner with her parents. They weren't completely aware that Blake was staying with them. It wasn't like her parents would have said no, but Tallia didn't want them having any sort of idea about the magic she could use. 

Tallia was good with secrets, it was one of her strengths, she could keep a secret and Blake knew this. There were a few things that she's told her in the past and she never said a word to anyone about it. She knew she could trust Tallia and right now...
