screams continued to fill the cold air around them. Blake's eyes wouldn't leave Tallia's, they were locked on each other as the statue removed the sword and Tallia's body fell into Penelope's open arms.

"How could you do this! Fix her! You have to fix her!" Penelope screamed at the statue who now stook her place back on the pedestal from before. Blake couldn't move, her mind was frozen, seeing the light die in Tallia's eyes was enough for a million lifetimes. She could barely register the words the goddess' statue was telling her.
