Alexander who looked defeated she glanced over at Penelope who was now enveloped in Tallia's arms, trying to find comfort in something. 

"What does that witch want?" Alexander's voice nearly broke her, the way he sidestepped what just came out of her mouth. His eyes filled with tears that silently fell as he pushed past Blake to see where the hell they were. She wanted to do something but she knew he wouldn't listen to anything until they were out of the maze. 

"She wants me to be the next enchantress." Alexander stopped in his tracks and turned back to the three of them right before he was able to say what was on his mind a loud crack came from above them. It sounded like thunder breaking the sky open but when a high pitched ding came after it Blake realized...
