Time was not kept track of, but the four of them assumed about two hours had passed since the first and only riddle was spoken and solved. The walls of the maze were too tall for any sort of sunlight to come in and tell them how long it's been in the sky. 

But they kept running, they kept pushing themselves turn after turn. Their covered feet slapped the soft and wet dirt as their panting breaths came out harder and harder the more they ran through the lines of the bushy maze. 

"We have to be getting closer to the next task, riddle, whatever you want to call it." Penelope huffed out as their running slowed and the sound of their breathing filled the air. 

"After we passed this bastard of a test, I'm working on my cardio more." Blake laughed as she...
