Blake held the note in her shaking hand while she waited for Tallia to return. Someone knew...Someone besides the trusted people around her knew what she could really do. She hadn't even mastered that part of her magic since she's been hiding it. All she could do it play with water, air and the plant life around her window. People just think she's a great gardener, not that she uses magic to help them grow. 

She didn't know of anyone in the school that would want to out her but apparently, there was and she had to figure it out before they did something that could land her in front of the council. 

The door opening and closing didn't even make her move. The note in her hand was balled up and causing heat in the middle of her palm.
