Parish, Michael Bruce Boraas, Anne Truman and three other students at the State University of New York at Stony Brook together rented a six-bedroom house in the Village of Belle Terre. Dr. Edwin and Judith Dickman owned the home that the group rented and approved of the students' living arrangements.
Michael Truman signed a lease with the Dickmans beginning December 31, 1971 and ending the following May at $500 per month.
