The next day, Chelsea got cleaned up after work and stood string at her closet, waiting for something appropriate to jump out at her. Casual, he had said that morning, when he came in to the diner for breakfast. He also said he would come by and pick her and Hank up. She wondered how he was going to do that on his bike. She rifled through her limited supply of clothing, getting increasingly frustrated. Now she wished she had taken more of her clothing when she left Gregory. She’d had a lot of nice clothing. She missed it, now. She had just grabbed essentials, when she fled. She finally settled on her short black skirt and a comfortable turquoise sweater. She was nervous enough as it was. She didn’t want to be uncomfortable with what she was wearing.
