“Are you angry with me?”
She looked into her cup as if perhaps the answers were there in the bottom. “No,” she said, sounding a bit undecided.
He leaned forward a bit. “You can’t deny what happened last night.”
“So what happened? We went for a ride, you kissed me and we went home.” She shrugged her shoulders. “No big deal.”
“Yeah, it WAS a big deal. I didn’t sleep all last night because of you.”
