“Turn off here.” Katelyn pointed to a dirt road that ran off into the trees and up the hill.
Gregory negotiated the turn, the headlights of the Bronco cutting into the night. “How much further from here?”
“About ten minutes.”
“I don’t want them seeing my headlights, remember.”
“I’ll tell you when we are close.” She glared at him. “I said I would.” She returned her gaze to the gravel road. “There is a spot you can pull off and park behind a rocky outcropping. I’ll call from there. We’ll see him go past, but he won’t see us.”
