The lights went down, the strobe lights turned on, we held sweaty hands, roller skating in time to The River of Dreams by Billy Joel. By this time in the day, I was exhausted. I loved roller skating and had been skating my heart out to all the greatest 90's hits. We tried desperately not to fall, in an attempt to maintain looking cool in front of our classes.
