weekend, and they agreed to save some really big jobs for a few weeks later.  So, what was he doing here?  A thought about his ex-wife’s new custody arrangement, and how they had not supported him in the fight, or encouraged him to try for custody, himself, crossed his mind, and he began firing his gun.  His mom started screaming and crying, and begging for him to stop, for hers and the childrens’ sake, for everyone’s sake.  He hit the ceiling, and wall, with bullets, while he screamed, at the top of his lungs, for the whole family to get downstairs, and lay on the floor, face down, on the living room carpet.

     “What are you doing, man?” asked his brother.

     “Shut up!”
