~Chapter 2~

     The phone rang in the main office, and she heard the accented voice of the shooter.

     “They all die!  I not give up until they all dead!  I not give up!  My Allah proud of me for defending him!  They all die!”

     He slammed the phone down in its cradle, and she heard him run back out into the main room.  Women were crying, but she couldn’t hear any childrens’ cries, and her heart sank, fearing they were all dead. ...
