Eden stood in the perfect March spring day and had a feeling it would be a long time before she wore heels again. With all the walking around the school she had to do plus the driving lessons, she wouldn’t get a chance. Eden didn’t mind. Healers couldn’t wear heels in a hospital.
She looked up to Sig who had his eyebrows furrowed and a frown on his face. They had been made partners for their behind the wheel lessons and thankfully gotten a different instructor, someone by the name of Vernan Barler. Eden would be happy with him as long as Barler didn’t drill them like they were in the army. All the yelling and commanding hadn’t been good for Sig who had struggled through the course beside her.
