but he knows. I can tell by the way he's looking at me. His eyes are icy and dead-looking and I feel the fear running up and down my spine. But I’m done keeping secrets for other people. Miles  wants to go back. I know that suddenly. And he's going to want me to help him. I have the mark and somehow he knows that. And how is that any crazier than all the rest of it? Who knows what I'll be facing when, if, I make it back safely. Maybe an extra pair of hands, or fists, might come in handy. What if Luke or Lucy are injured? He could help me get them back.
