“This is Kateri. She’s the one who stitched you up when we first…” Luke trails off and looks toward Makes It Rain who is watching him thoughtfully.

He gives an awkward smile to her before turning it to me and then finally to Kateri, who has the same look on her face as Rain, calm and thoughtful. Watchful almost, as if neither of them quite trust either of us. Welcome to the club, I think. I try to recall even a whisper of a memory of this girl sticking a needle into my skin... but I've got nothing.

It's a very unsettling feeling.
