Watermelon Sherbet

One of my favorite fruits is the iconic watermelon. It's wholesome, naturally sweet, hydrating, and contains a TON of nutrients. As a child, my mom would buy humongous watermelons and we'd have lots left over. After all the seed spitting contests, there was only one thing to do with all the leftovers. Sherbet!

I like to add chocolate chips to mine, because they look like seeds, and well...there's never a wrong time to use a little chocolate. Additionally, if you're wondering what you can do with the rind, try making homemade pickles with it (recipe coming soon). This Sherbet recipe can be adapted to use almost any fruit!
