One of the many countries I had the chance to live in during my childhood was the beautiful country of Germany. I will never get tired of those gothic spires, and the food was to die for. Yes, people, I used to live in this slice of heaven.
Among the many gloriously hearty dishes I came to love while I was there, one of my all time favorites is the deliciously thin, pan-fried pork cutlets known as Schnitzel. I particularly enjoyed the Jager (hunter) variety, which is served with mushroom gravy.
