Captain’s log, 26 January 2158.

We had a couple of unexpected guests.

“Get on the ground! Get on the ground!” the robbers screamed, aiming phasers at the customers and the tellers. There were three robbers, and their faces were obscured by holographic masks that scrambled their features and modulated their voices.

Everyone obeyed, well practiced in bank robbery protocol. This was the third time the bank had been robbed this week, and it was only Friday.

But then again, the bank was built on ground that technically belonged to the local garbage giant, and such unsavory sorts as these robbers took any chance they had to take advantage of it.
