Captain’s log, 1 December 2157.

Gone are the days when artists were appreciated for their work.

The crew had just finished their first show run with their new members. As expected, they’d packed the house the first night, had a strong showing the rest of the first week, and had consistent attendance, albeit lessened, for the rest of the run. In all, it was a solidly positive and beneficial experience, and Renelle was exceptionally proud of her team.

There was just one hitch.

“I don’t want to leave the system without the Superstar Stage having paid us,” Renelle said quietly. She, Arynne, Ieva, Nola, and Liam were gathered in the small cabin aboard ASC Fermata that was generally considered the managers’ office.
