Captain’s log, 17 November 2157.

We are flying again after having a bit of a scare in friendly space.

The starcraft’s nighttime setting was engaged, and most of the crew of ASC Fermata was asleep. Liam was in the cockpit, and Nola and Yvonne were sitting nearby in the cabin. One of the starcraft’s rules was that there must always be at least two people awake at any given time.

“The Superstar Stage is one of my favorite venues,” Liam remarked. “We should play there more often.”

“We’re only this close to home because we decided to start the newbies somewhere familiar,” Yvonne reminded him. “Most of the time, we’ll be way out of system.”
