Some people complain that God put thorns on roses while others thank him for putting roses on thorns.

Those words were inscribed on a bookmark that was given to me. It is reminder that I’m a flawed person. Basically I’m not much different than anyone else. We are all flawed, but the key is appreciating the beauty in these flaws. We generally experience more joy when we try to focus on the good in others.
