As I previously mentioned, 2008 was a particularly rough year. With the possible exception of my high school years, 2008 may have been the absolute worst year of my entire life. During the first part of 2009 things were starting to look up. Jimmy Jazz and Sarah got married, and I had the opportunity to travel to Austria for the first time. Of course weddings were always a bit of a mixed bag for me. On one hand I was sincerely happy for my friends; on the other hand, it was a painful reminder concerning my lack of game with the ladies. But in this instance I was mostly content. Plus, I did get to make them a really epic wedding mix CD. The one constant I’m eternally grateful for, is the fact that solace can always be found in music.
