to the rock n’ roll lifestyle. He died of a heroin overdose.  He was 27 years old at the time. I did keep contact with him and I saw his band live on a few occasions when they were playing local gigs. At times I feel guilty because I think I should have been more observant of any potential warning signs. I didn’t fully realize the extent of the problem before it was too late.

If there is a lesson here for you to learn my son it is this: when you are young you sometimes feel you are invincible. Real life is not a comic book, there is no such thing as bulletproof.
