Pammy’s trying to broker peace again. She made a scrapbook from the wedding this summer and gave it to Mom and Dad for Mom’s birthday. I can only imagine the look on Mom’s face when she opened it. Mom does not care about sentimental crap like that. “The less you have, the less you carry.” How many times has Mom said that to us in our lifetime? But, Pammy thought it would show Mom how much she missed by not being there. Apparently it didn’t go over well. Mom started crying. Pammy tried to convince me she was crying because she was upset she missed the wedding, but I know what she was really crying about.
