Carefully, he slid his thighs from under my legs, stood, and leaned over me. He braced his hands against the couch as he moved in to claim a seductively slow kiss. The grin that tugged the corners of his mouth let me know the slow approach was deliberate on his part. 

With the cast and sling immobilizing one arm, and the tea cup in my other hand, I couldn’t grab hold of his face and pull it closer like I wanted.
