“They must have told you some story to get you to trust them.”
“I’m still not sure if I do trust them, but Joshua did. He had the chance to exonerate himself and tell everyone that witches were involved, but he chose to remain silent. They hung him from the gallows for it. I’m sure they’d do the same to me if they caught me.”
