It’s Monday morning in Central Arkansas.  It’s humid, overcast and the weather matches my mood perfectly. 

     Three days ago, I was sitting with Miss Kim listening to the news when a breaking story halted our conversation.  Chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain had died.

     It felt like a punch to the gut.

     As I stared at the screen listening to the commentator report the details of his death my mind kept saying “Not Tony”.  It couldn’t be true.

     Anthony Bourdain, the much loved and respected chef turned writer turned world traveler turned storyteller was gone. 

     Anthony couldn’t be gone.  He had so many more storie...
