I do the majority of my writing on the desktop in our home office.  On occasion I will hack it out on the laptop.  As a matter of discipline I should be writing these words down on paper, by hand and then typing them out.  But I like writing in the comfort of “my” office.   The office is where all my “stuff” is.  It’s a cozy place. 

     Another reason I like to write in the office is just over and above my left shoulder.  No more than two feet from my chair is some kind of wicker thing with five baskets that contain Miss Kim’s collection of forgotten socks, hosiery and various other “things” she no longer wears.

     On top of this wicker thin...
