and as the agent unsuccessfully attempted to revive the man and other agents began to work their way toward the group, Laurie crouched down on the floor, grabbing clumps of the man’s pretzels that had scattered all over the floor when the accountant had dropped the bag. She began shoving the pretzels into her mouth, ravenously, inattentive to the crisis unfolding in front of her, surviving off of primal instincts after her escape from the cabin in the woods, hissing whenever anyone tried to come near her and throwing pretzels at strangers who tried to help, and as the accountant died despite the attempts of the agent performing CPR, she plucked a pretzel off his chest and chomped down on it, before standing and running through the crowd, away from the scene and towards freedom.
