The mysterious woman who found Laurie had a name, but that was immaterial at the moment. What was most important was getting Laurie, who the woman thought was Lori, to safety. The woman knew every nook and cranny of the airport intimately, having worked there for a couple months, and she had a special closet where she kept her cleaning supplies and liquor. Drinking on the job was a considerably less scandalous offense than the incident that had gotten her fired from her last job, and right now having a secret place was going to be very beneficial for Laurie and for herself. She needed a private moment to process the coincidence of it all, the timing of her discovery, and the meaning, if there was one, of finding someone she had thought of every day for years losing consciousness in an airport bathroom.
