Mark heard the knock on the door and got up to answer it. Thinking it was room service again, he opened it without ceremony and nearly fainted when he saw his wife on the other side.

    Baffled by her presence he stuttered, “b-b-b-but you were just in the bathroom! How did you . . . how on earth did you get there?”

    Laurie stared at her husband, wondering if he was drunk. “Honey, are you just going to stand there babbling incoherent nonsense or are you going to let me in? It’s been a long night.”
