A Touch of Noir
By Lisa M. Giannone

Series Description:

A Touch of Noir is a collection of short stories written in "noir" style, featuring immoral, desperate, and sinister characters set in the foggy, shadowy and hilly landscape of post-WWII San Francisco, as well as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Chicago.  The stories are primarily told in first person, using language typical of 1940s-1960s.

Author Bio For Lisa M. Giannone:

I'm a technical writer in the Finance IT field by day, and a writer and poet by night. With a background in Psychology and Statistics, I've been working in the IT industry since 1994, previously as a system developer, business systems analyst, and process reengineer.

I'm the author of two other popular series on Channillo: No Vacancy, a collection of humorous personal essays, and A Touch of Noir, a collection of short stories written in “noir” style. I'm currently scribing another poetry series, Bits and Pieces, on Wattpad. My poems, all ripped out of my personal life, are also featured on Scriggler, Spillwords, and Niume. Three of my poems were published in the anthology Poets Across Borders, available at amazon.co.uk. I'm also collaborating on a collection of poetry and short stories scheduled for spring 2017 release. All of Me is a collection of new poems unavailable anywhere else.

In my spare time, I'm an active golfer in the NCGA, an avid New York Yankee and San Francisco Giants baseball fan, and a Film Noir and classic (1940’s-1960’s) film buff.
