Today I am reminded yet again of failing. Something I, like everyone else, doesn’t like to think about. Winners and winning mentality is what we want. It is what everyone is selling to us. Then again, winners have tons of failures in their records. It's like we're blind to an essential part of it all. Winners are not always certain of victory; that they also fail. Failing now comes as a big shock to us. No wonder we quit easily, we’re not prepared for such scenarios. We're trained to be tough, but this toughness has a weak spot. Our toughness is only on the outside, fragile on the inside. The blindness to the possibility of failing is the weak spot.
