     Time got us, nothing else could. 

     I can’t believe I am about to say goodbye. My heart absorbed loving you like a swimmer, raising his head above water, gulping air, consuming much of me. Our differences made us stronger then it made us outgrow each other. Our interests didn’t align. I thought it was a good thing having such differing individuality in a relationship.

     I bet we look good together to passers-by sitting side by side. 

     When we were strangers, I envisioned more looking at you all those times as you walked by. The life we might have had. The good times we might have shared. The happily ever after. Then we talked. Magical is the only word I thought described it. I fell...
