Time got us, nothing else could.
I can’t believe I am about to say goodbye. My heart absorbed loving you like a swimmer, raising his head above water, gulping air, consuming much of me. Our differences made us stronger then it made us outgrow each other. Our interests didn’t align. I thought it was a good thing having such differing individuality in a relationship.
I bet we look good together to passers-by sitting side by side.
