I mean different things to different people.

     I am not multifaceted, people see me in different lights illuminated by the circumstances of our interaction. Impression is perception; what they percept are what they perceive. I long for everyone to see the best version of me.

     I am smart to some, deluded to others. I am brave to some, and a chicken to others. I don't get to decide people's impressions and assumptions of me. I have less control of the impression I make on others than I’d hope. I don't pretend to control it, not anymore, but sometimes I am inclined to encourage some impressions. Some people get it right. Their projection of me is how I want everyone to see me.
