My wife wanted a man in the house—a handyman.

     Apparently being brave, romantic and a gentleman isn’t enough. One also needed to be a technician. She said it felt like there was a man in the house only when my kid brother was around. He could fix the cable, the generator, AC, and everything. I’m not all that useless. It’s not like I couldn’t change a light bulb. Well I thought I could, until she needed the bulbs of the chandelier to be changed. You wouldn’t believe how hard they try to hide the screws on that thing.
