We like being realistic with ourselves, that’s why most of us don't believe in luck.
We don't believe in some astonishing coincidence that might aid us. Though every now and then, we accept this in other people’s incredulous situations. We find ourselves involuntarily saying: he or she is lucky.
Luck breeds hope. Calculated risks are not taken without some believe or hope that events will play out exactly like the scenarios we envisioned. Since reality is not always absolute, We're counting on real life events to coincide with our well drafted scenarios.
